You go to the Living Cavern.

Dea toe dances in from the Southeastern Bowl.

Mihally walks in from the Southeastern Bowl.

Fitz bounces into the Living Caverns, his flit-on-a-string gliding along behind him. He runs circles around a drudge, then weaves his way around the tables, keeping himself and his big fat brown amused.

Mihally enters as she wonders around the weyr trying to find someone to talk to considering that she is extremly bored or out of things to do.

Serafa shakes her head "No I havent I wonder what they are up to now?" She questions as she remembers the happy days of youth. "I still think that no matter how big Bydelth gets Aiana would still call you boy" She teases, she's allowed to. she knew him /before/ dragon.

Dea enters, pulling off her gloves, she smiles to a couple of the candidates as she heads for wine, food and possible good company.

Relian, with his boots strung between several fingers, dangling in a light swing as he moves, wanders across the caverns in bare feet, pausing to nod at those assembled - vaguely, anyway. More more assurance, the young man serves himself a mug of water, moving to sit at one of the nearby tables. "'lo," he comments, dropping his boots onto the floor beside him.

"Maybe 'fore she knows that I have a few kids, eh?" Heh... that would kinda prove his point out of being a 'boy'. "Definitely gonna go find her sometime, eh? Both of us--and visit Chelle while we're up there..." It's a plan that N'ano will take into action within the next ten turns, really.

Mihally finds a table and sits

Mihally lays her head on the table from uter depresion becuase what she had just gone trough, trying to wipe the tears away, to keep people from looking at her

Dea grabbing a mug of something fiery from the table and a plate of munchies, she heads for a table. Seeing Fitz, "Hey Fitz!" Finding a chair, she plops into it. It can't get any better then this.

Mihally lifts her head, looking down at her skirt, "oh no". She begins to whimper, then brushes of the sand becuase she forgot to after she finished helping her friend with a project, then lays her head back down.

Fitz runs around Dea's chair, laughing as the brown tries to overtake him. "Hey Dea!" then resumes his weaving between the tables. It doesn't take much to amuse the kid.

Joshavich walks in from the Southeastern Bowl.

Serafa snorts "We can, but I dont think that the number of children you have had will make any difference you know" She teases much like she always does, a relaxed wave and "'Lo!" Is sent Relians way and she peers at him curiously. "Relian? N'ano said we can have klah and real food and stuff" She tells him like the helpful little soul that she is.

Dea laughs at the young candidate as she sips her drink, "So how's it shakin' kid? How are you finding weyr life?"

Joshavich walks in cloak wrapped about him... hmmm he looks to wonder where on earth he is.

Kerali sways her hips as she walks in from the Southeastern Bowl.

Mihally waves to Joshavich "over here"

Fitz abruptly stops, sending the lizard flying, dramatically divebombing a pillow. Panting he climbs up onto a seat across from Dea. "It's going ok. Lots of work. Lot harder than dragging around sacks of fertilizer and dirt. I guess I should feel right at home when we get to carry firestone. I just hope it's not too heavy." he shrugs, brushing his hair back. "I might be growing, but I'm not growing /that/ fast."

Joshavich looks at the waving person with a sort of blank stare. He cocks his head as if he is trying to remember where he met this person and takes a walk twoards her,

Kerali whistles a bit as she wanders into the caverns, giving a wave and smile to both those she knows and doesn't know. Disappearing into the kitchens for a moment, she reappears with a rather steaming cup of tea. She slides into a seat among the crowd, and nods. "'Lo folks." A smile and wink is given to N'ano. "And congrats once again to you, N'ano."

Fareia walks in from the South Caverns.

"Why wouldn't we?" Relian peers towards Serafa, but shrugs, noting with a cheerful twist of his lips, "I just want water, anyway. It's too warm for klah." A sip is taken from the mug, condensation slipping on to his lip as the cool ceramic comes in contact with his skin. "'lo," he greets, of those arriving, whilst his posture is shrugged off into an easy slouch.

Meral suddenly awaken from his little trance of staring intently at the wall. "Oh.. uhm. Hi!" More people gathered, whoo. He sighs softly, going off to deposite his glass in the kitchens and brandish a mug for klah -- ah, freedom. No running today, and no bread-and-water-only. He really hated that, you know.

Mihally looking at joshavich "hi i am Mihally, i have heard about you from one of my friends"

Joshavich looks thoughtful. "Really... which one? Then you must know I'm Joshavich... eh?"

Mihally smiles "yes, i'm not sure but i remember one of them in the cot say something about you, and how you looked you know how girls are".

Dea chuckles at Fitz, as she partakes her snack and finishes her drin, "Well, get use to it kid. if you impress, there'll be more then lugging sacks of firestone around."

N'ano half grins, giving a quick nod towards Kerali at her statement "Thanks," he simply responds before standing, returning to the hearth incase there was that slight possibility that a drudge might've gotten by without his acknowledgement to refill the pot. Alas, it's not so, though his attention is caught--blankly, as he stares out towards the bowl.

Mihally points to a seat across from her "join me if you will?"

Fareia wanders in to hear candidates talking about...and drinking klah. And food! what's happened? Oh good. Farie must've been right. Could N'ano be in so good a mood that he's letting us eat? Oh how nice. A mug of juice and a small sweetroll is grabbed and she turns to go sit by Kerali. "Hey, Kera. I know it should be wierd having you around the weyr but it's really not..." A shrug and a bite into her sweetroll,"I guess it wouldn't be though, as I see- er..saw you around the hall all the time." Meral, Seffy, Fitz, and such are given a little wave before she crosses her legs and leans back in her seat.

Fitz nods and kicks his feet. "Yeah but it would be less like work by then. That would be neat. Hauling firestone to save people's lives is a lot different than hauling sacks of dirt to grow flowers."

Joshavich smiles warmly. "Good to meet you then..." he extends his hand. "By the way where am I. I have been wondering about here for the last couple of days... and well ever since..." Josh takes a seat as Mihally points then continues, "I was dropped off by a ship..."

Kerali pouts slightly at Fareia. "Y'know, it's just not the same without you there! Kiri and I miss you terribly down there, though I consider myself lucky to be able to help Hytiaf out here." She waves to the others she doesn't know, and gives a universal greeting. She's too tired to do otherwise. "Hi there. I'm Sr. Healer Apprentice Kerali. Kera, if you like." A wicked grin appears, however. "I'll be helping out with your physicals, so you best be nice to me." Wink.

Mihally smiles "You are at the Ista Weyr Living caverns, i am visiting my aunt"

Mihally looking around "i am orriginally fromParadise hold"

Joshavich nods and looks a bit distracted with thought. This is not at all where he wanted to end up with his little hich hiking of a ship. ".... I trust she is well?"

Relian grins around the edge of his mug, towards Kerali; "Well met, Kera. I'm Relian, or Rel." Another sip is ingested, the young man swishing it about through his mouth before swallowing. "You just visiting here, then?"

Mihally nods "yes she needed help with smoething or the other i got here to day"

Kerali looks Relian up and down with her eyes, judging him a bit. Breaking into a rather amused grin, she nods, lips curling up into a smile. "Until after the Hatching, yes. I have the lovely honor of looking at most, if not all, of you naked." Healer jokes. Gotta love'em. Snagging a roll from a plate, she breaks it in half. "ANd you...are you a weyr resident, or were you unsuspectingly snatched from another hold/weyr?"

Fareia sighs slightly and takes a sip of her juice. "D'you think Kiri's going to come to help with physicals, to?" A slight grin goes to Relian,"Take her advice and be nice. She's not as innocent as she looks..." As people found out earlier today. The rest of her sweetroll is popped into her mouth and she licks off a couple fingers.

Serafa waves a little belatedly to Fareia, she had been day-dreaming once more. Smiling bemusedly she sips her water and listens to the chatter of her fellow candidates and healers. "In fact she's down-right nasty, I saw her in action a couple of days ago." She flutters her eyelashes Relian-wards. "I'm much nicer"

"I look forward to this occasion," comments Relian with a waggle of his eyebrows, although he grins good naturedly, resting his fingers upon the edge of the table with a moue of relaxation. "I was a weyr resident, although I'm actually Hold bred - I've been here since the end of winter." Fareia's advice is met with a sage nod. "I'll remember that. -- Oh, are you, Seffy? I'll remember that, too."

Dea dusts off her fingers, looking around, "Well, if you look at it that way...." She looks around and frowns slightly. Hmmm... then she shrugs, returning her attention to the kid. "So what do you hope to impress?"

Kerali gives Serafa a look of mock horror. "Why, whatever are you implying, Serafa?" Her eyes twinkle amusedly. Leaning back in her chair, she takes a bite of the roll, followed by a sip of tea to wash it down. Waving her hand casually at Fareia, she turns to Relian. "Ignore them, if you will." She winks at Serafa and Fareia. "I'd never hurt such a handsome candidate as yourself." Flutter.

Fitz shrugs. "I dunno. It's not up to me, I guess. Whatever dragon wants me is the one I want. I want a big one. Or a small one."

Dea chuckles, "Well, Ftors isn't as big as a bronze but he is good size."

Fareia crosses her arms with a fake pout,"Oh it's not fair that I wasn't a senior apprentice yet." An eyebrow is quirked to relian,"Was a resident? Oh so you're a Candidate, too?" A look to his shoulder for the purtiful white knot confirms that,"Oh, so am I. The newest one, as far as I know. Name's Fareia," she says with a grin, uncrossing her arms and picking up her mug again.

Serafa giggles "Um yeah, I'm sure that Kilbane will still have bruises" She teases, "Yeah I'm nice I let you have a robe and everything." Kerali doesnt. "Fareia you can still do physicals as long as Hytiaf is there with you. I mean every clutch she woulda been overwhelmed by candidates if she didnt get her apprentices to help." She grins. "'Sides its good practice"

Relian's grin is extended towards Fareia, as he issues her with a lazy nod. "Aye, I'm a candidate. Well met, Fareia. Relian, as I said, before." Kerali earns a wink; "Flatterer." Listening to Serafa, he merely laughs, shrugging his shoulders, whilst his mug is raised once more. "I guess I'll just see what happens, then, and who I get."

Dea stretches and stands, "Well kid. I have to go. Ftoranth wants me for something."

Fitz pouts. "Aww, do you have to go so soon? I'm bored. They'll start making me do chores or somehthing."

Turning her sienna gaze on Meral, she prods the boy under the table with a foot. "Hiya Meral. What's new with you, hmmm?" Kerali glances up quickly to the flits gathered on their perches - all 33 of them. "Where's your little flizzen entourage this evening?" Another sip of tea is taken to wash down the last of the roll.

Dea chuckles, "Well, you can come out and help me with Ftors. Or I can give you an excuse to get out of work for the day."

"With me?" Meral chimes in slowly, yawning, "Me? I'm tired. Doing chores. I've been peeling alot of tubers, you know." he answers Kerali, shrugging, "Otherwise nothing. How have you been?" Okay, so he's quite subdued today.

Fitz bounces. "Ooooh! Neat! Better than washing dishes or getting physicals. I wouldn't want to get out of work. That wouldn't be fair, but I could get out of /extra/ work!"

Dea laughs, "Well come along. Ftoranth needs a playtoy."

Fareia grins to Serafa,"Oh, I know. I just have to get around to asking her. And get my own done first..." A wink goes to Relian,"Yeah, now you have a chance of getting stuck with me." Though it's a bit of an empty threat, as she is the SaneOne of her little Healer Clique. Fitz is eyed for a moment. Boy, kid's sure happy. Shrug. She turns back to Kerali and asks,"Have you heard about the Masked Ball the candidates are throwing?" Yes, and Farie /still/ hasn't decided what to wear.

Kerali fixes Fitz with a stern glare. "Don't forget, though. Eventually you'll need a physical." She breaks into a grin, though not as malicious as usual. Turning back to Meral, she shrugs. "I'm okay, though I do miss Fareia dearly back at the Hall." Ker gives Fareia a quick hug. "Also, I'm going to try to head up to Grinstead for a day to help gather...eeek...numbweed!" She wrinkles her nose. "Wanna come help?" Grin. Eyes glance back to Fareia.

"Masked Ball? Why...no? Who's it open to?"

Serafa takes a final sip of her water and standing up the healerite-candidate sighs. "Well its been nice talking but, I really hafta skedadle before Dhimmarath decides she wants a Seffy-hide blanket for her darling gold egg" With one last little flounce she heads off to face the rest of her fun-packed day.

Fareia grins,"In a couple days. Anyone at the weyr's invited. It's before Aerrin drags us to Grinstead to help us harvest, though." She reaches up to reposition her large hat on her head and adds,"Don't forget to wear a costume though...I still don't know what I'm going to wear. I have an idea though. Ooh..Maybe we could make our masks together or something..." Most likely Farie's outfit is going to consist of something purple and glittery. Hm...Or maybe not.

Relian's nose wrinkles slightly at mention of dressing up, although he maintains a general silence; he'll avoid that type of conversation. Instead, he busies himself with his mug, which is, by now, rather empty, making a loud enough crash as it tips over, and manages, by chance, not to break. He rights it, almost embarrassed.

Kerali turns to look thoughtfully into her mug. "Hmm...a mask..." She nods at Fareia's suggestion. "Marvelous idea! I'll have to start thinking of what design I'd like though." She debates the colors...definitely jewel tones, on her. Maybe some glass beads. Kera starts suddenly as Relian manages to tip his mug over. "Careful there, Relian." She grins at him. "And tell me, are you going to as well?" This one looks easily embarrased.

Fitz grins and zips after Dea, sticking his tongue out at Kerali. "Bleah."

"Maybe." Relian's answer is made cautiously, his expression hesitant. "I'll see." He flushes, somewhat faintly, as he pushes his mug away from him, forstalling any further accidents with the ceramic water-holder.

Fareia smiles maliciously at Relian,"Oh you should. It'd be fun." It's so much fun to torture boys. With a feminine clasp of her hands, she places them on her knee and turns back to Kerali,"I'm thinking of something...purple." Wel, we all know how much Farie loves purple.

Dea toe dances to the Bowl.

Kerali blinks a bit at Fitz, then sticks her own tongue out at him. "Nyah yourself, Candie-boy." Shaking her head, she turns to Fareia. "Shards, girl...are they all like that one?" She glances over at Relian, and nods "Nice blush there." Wink. Hmm...purple. "That'd be a wonderful color on ya, Fare. Me? Well...prolly something along the line of jewel-tones. Burgundy, perhaps. No?" She fingers her hair thoughtfully. "I might even wear my Gather dress, if it's a formal type thing."

Relian shrugs his shoulders, admitting, "I wouldn't know what to wear. I don't mind dancing - I like dancing - but I don't really have any ideas about costumes." His nose wrinkles, as he admits, "I'm not very creative in that way." Kerali's comment earns a stuck out tongue, although the blush receeds, mellowing into his usual tan.

Sage struts in from the South Caverns.

Fareia taps herchin for a moment efore retaining her grin,"You coulod always wear one of my dresses and find a wig and go as me?" A lavish wink and she shrugs,"Well...I'm sure kera and I could think of /something/ for you..." Oh! Let's play dress up with Relian. Fun fun fun. I call his hair!

Kerali waves her hand casually at Relian, eyes twinkling with amusement. "You'll have to excuse my behavior, Relian. I haven't been out of the Hall for a while, due to studies, so I'm a bit giddy with the freedom." She nods, taking another sip from her mug. "Plus, I used to live here before I was a Healer. I miss the place, and the people!" Kera blinks at Fareia's sudden outburst, then smiles, mischievously at that. "Hmmm...dress up." Bottomless brown eyes focus on Relian for a moment. "Indeed...you take his hair, I'll take the rest of him." Wink.

Relian merely eyes Fareia with his dark eyes half lidded. "I'm sure *that* would make an interesting sensation. Will I get less abuse, if I'm dressed as a girl?" He winks with his right eye, adding, by Kerali's direction, "I'll understand that, and not hold it against you, Kerali. -- Faranth's nosehair, just don't make me look *too* peculiar!" Is that agreement?

Fitz zips to the Bowl.

Fareia giggles and pauses to put on a straight face,"Agreed." And back to giggle-dom. "THis is unusual behavior for you, Kera? I dun /think/ so..." Mm-hmm. She's seen Kerali be /almost/ this audacious before. Suddenly, she pushes her chair back and stans up,"Well then. Let's go take a look at my wardrobe."

Kerali finishes the last of her tea as she nods at Relian. "As you wish, Lady Relian." She winks at him. This is going to be such a nice change from having her nose buried in a scroll. She mock-scowls at Fareia. "I have no idea what you're inferring, Fare." Rising, she gestures towards Fareia. "After you, dear girl. I have no idea where you're staying these days!" Glancing over her shoulder, a bit coyly, at Relian, she waves him over. "Coming?"

Relian's face takes this opportunity to turn red - but that doesn't stop him from standing, his mug placed away, whilst his head nods - somewhat gingerly, it's true - towards Kerali and Fareia. "Er, okay. Will I fit?" This is a good question. Shuffling his feet, Relian digs his hands into his pockets, bemused.

Fareia giggles as she leads them out the door. A glance over her shoulder lets her look Relian over,"Yes, I'm tall enough. And you're skinny enough, I'd say..." Now...To the barracks!

[In the barracks]

Fareia gestures to her little troop and walks over to her cot, opening the small chest at the end. "Hmm....Let's see then..." she says, once again tapping her chin. "Kera, what color do you think he'd look good in? Light or dark?" Yes, that's the first step. Mm...A lovely perriwinkle skirt rests somewhere in the bottom of her little collection. And a dark forest green somewhere else.

Relian strikes a pose with genial amusement, fluttering his eyelashes lazily. "Dark is better, I'd think." What with his tawny hair, he might be right. Tossing coils of hair away from his face, his right hand moves to hold position behind his head, the left resting upon his hip. Ooh, charming.

Kerali looks Relian up and down with a critical eye, then looks over at Nyla. "Hey Nyla!! I'm Kerali, from the Hold. Just here to give y'all physicals." Mwah. She whispers over tothe weaver "Hey now, you would'nt happen to have any of that leather, would ya?" She winks, nodding her head towards Relian. "Dress up time for this little Candie-man."

Nyla nods as she's leaving, quirking a 'brow to Kerali and a supple grin curving from her lips. "Well met, Kerali. I'll see you around!"

Nyla sparkles to the Caverns.

Fareia grins,"Possibly...." She leans down to rummage through her neatened stack of clothing, and pulls out a forest-green dress, a full skirt at the bottom with a bodice-type top to be laced. A white shirt with capped sleeves is also pulled out to be worn underneat. Holdin it up to Reli while he poses she raises an eyebrow,"Hmm...what do you think Kera-dahling?" she asks in her "fashion critic" voice.

Arching one eyebrow, she critically eyes Relian. "Hmmm...dunno. Drop your pants, boy, I'd like to see your legs." Kerali manages /not/ to break out into a fit of laughter with that statement. "Hey, it's not hte first time I've said that to someone. And besides, Fare and I are both Healers. Very professional." But oho..she's not wearing her knot at the moment, is she?

Relian's eyebrows raise. They go higher. "I assure you, my legs look just the same when in breeches, as bare. -- Sure you're both healers, but you're neither on duty right now." Hesitation does not, however, make him drop his pose.

Fareia however does laugh and taps Kerali on the shoulder,"Oh hush, you. Second time you've tried to get a poor Candie boy to do that today." SHe shakes her head in a mock scold then hands the dress to Relian, along with the shirt,"Here go try this on," she says, motioning over towards the boy's side of the barracks,"However you don't /have/ to go all the way over there if you don't want to..." And another wink comes from Farie.

Kerali laughs at the whole absurdity of the situation, shaking her head. "I tease, Relian...just ignore me." If you can. She shoos him off towards the boys' side. "Go on and change...we can adjust when you get back, if we need to." Wink. Chuckling at Fareia, she points to the chest. "Any makeup in there? I think he'd look ravishing in shades of burgundy and brown, eh?"

Relian facepalms - or would, if his arms weren't full of clothes. Instead, he nods, mutely. "If my brothers could see me, now..." Yes, they'd all be quite horrified, as Relian might be himself. He toddles off to the boy's side, disappearing for several minutes - and reappears, well dressed, making a curtsey. "I don't know how you manage skirts," is his only comment.

Fareia crouches in front of her trunk and rummages through it, then comes up with a small basket of makeup. "Hrm...Yes, I would definately say earthy tones..." A few browns and drak greens are plucked out before she sets the basket on her bed and turns to see Meral and laughs rather loudly. "Oh they're not /that/ bad. And we must teach you how to walk and act and such like a /lady/." He's a lady...Whoa whoa whoa...He's a laady. "Kera, why don't you adjust the lacing on that bodice?" she suggests as she finds a bit of bronze-ish eye makeup and smiles mischeviously.

Kerali crosses her arms and lets out a slow whistle at Relian. "Well now, that actually looks half-decent, don't ya think, Fare?" Wink. She nods at

Fareia's suggestion and sashays over to stand in front of Relian. She smells sweetly of herbs, doesn't she? Reaching up, she grabs the laces of the bodice and gives them a good /yank/, drawing them tight. Meeting her eyes with his, she smiles once more. "Hmmm..we're going to have to do something about some cleavage here." Shards...she is in a /mood/ today!

"Socks, or handkerchiefs?" asks Relian, attempting to mimic Kerali's walk as best he can, until she approaches; he's amused, if nothing else. "You'll have to teach me manners, and stuff, too, I have no doubt." This should, indeed, be interesting. "What're you going to do with my hair, though? It isn't *properly* long enough, I don't think."

Fareia chuckles,"Lovely," and shakes her head at Kerali,"You're almost as bad as a proddy greenrider, girl." Wink. A small brush appears in her hand and she follows Kerali to Relian,"Close your eyes. Keep 'em still," she orders and flicks a lock of his hair,"We'll figure /something/ out...."

Kerali laughs, and pulls out some handkerchiefs from the chest. "Handkerchiefs. Definitely." No holds barred, she begins to stuff them down the bodice of the dress. "Sorry, but we need to make you delicious looking for the green-errr, dragonriders." Glancing up at Fareia, she thinks for a moment. "Heyyy..let's give him cornrow braids! We can do that with short hair, no?"

Relian closes his eyes on cue, although he sneezes as the makeup comes near him, hand reaching up to rub at his nose. "I'm trying." He's not much used to this - yet. "For the greenriders, huh? I'm sure they'll just *love* me." Too late. "Cornrow braids? What're they?"

Fareia brushes a bit of eyemakeup onto his lid and pulls away,"/Gorgeous/," she declares and snaps the little case shut before turning to get a bit of lip rouge from her collection. Ah, found it. A dark mauve in color, she smudges it onto his lips and then says,"Okay, now rub your lips together like this," she says, demonstrating a bit with her own. Another strand of his hair is held and looked over,"Hmm...It could work," she says with a slow nod. "Relina, dahling you're going to look /spectacular/ when we're through with you." Yes, she said Relina.

"Relina. Lovely." Kera finishes stuffing the bodice, then steps back a little. "Hmmm." Reaching both hands up, she cups his...well...fake...ya know...and judges. "Well, it'll do. You're a guy, after all." Wickedly she smirks, then fluffs the skirts out here and there, slowly moving around to his backside. "Well well well, the view is just as good from here too, Fare!" Looks like Relian might not only be attracting greenriders, but other riders, and perhaps certain Healers as well. Nod.

Relian flushes - how unusual - but manages to attempt a coy look. He's not entirely successful, it's true. Lips are rubbed together, as requested, then parted seductively - at least, that's what he thinks he's doing. "You know, if I were anyone else, I'd probably be strangely attracted by the way you're cupping my breasts," he informs Kera, with a wink.

Fareia chuckles and looks around for a couple chairs. Two are dragged over and she sits in one,"Okay, Relian-er...Relina...Sit on the floor so we can braid your hair." A descisive nod and she looks up at Kerali,"You get one side and I'll get the other?" she suggests. Relian's feet are suddenly noticed,"Oh your shoes!" she exclaims, rather loudly,"Hm...Big boy feet. D'ya have any sandals that might work?" Her own petite toes are wiggled and she shrugs. Her shoes wouldn't fit.

"And if I were anyone else, I'd be strangely disappointed that there's not much to cup." She winks back at him, sugary-sweet smile dancing across her own ruby lips. Kerali shakes her head, then looks down at her own feet. "He might fit a pair of my shoes, Fare. I can get one of my flits to bring them from the Hold." She thinks for a moment, then nods. "Kay. They should be here soon." She runs her fingers through his hair, then grasps a lock or two. "Let me know if it's too tight, 'kay Relina?" Smirk.

Relian hesitates, his clunky boots given a thoughtful glance as he moves to sit, heedless of his skirts. "I've some leather sandals, but they're not all that nice. We could polish my boots up, perhaps?" Kerali's comment earns a sticking out of his tongue, a wink following; "Will do." It's surprising how quickly he has taken to his new name.

Fareia purses her lips as she begins a row of braiding and shrugs. "Eh. Let's try Kerali's first. If they don't work, we'll use yours..." A glance towards the exit and the twinkle in her eyes brightens,"Oh when we're done with your hair we simply must take you down to the living caverns to try out your new look..."

"Just in time...thank you Kethri." The green chirps as she drops a pair of sandals in her hands, then chirps again, flying off to a perch. Kerali looks at the sandals, then Relian's feet. "I think these'll do. Just make sure you give them back, 'kay?" She leans down and removes the boots, then socks. "Thank Faranth your feet don't smell, boy, else I'd let you go with the boots." The sandals are tied on, then she hrms again. "Y'know, toenail polish would look great." Egads.

Relian merely boggles at Fareia, hesitating. "Er, to the living caverns?" Er, this is going to cause a blush, and it does: crimson turns his complexion, eyes downcast. "Faranth's nekkid rear." Kerali's removal of his boots and socks causes a brief movement of his own, as if he's checking to make sure there are no peculiar growths upon his feet - negative. "I'll make sure I keep my feet smelling nice and purdy," he promises, with a bob of his head. "Toenail polish?" This he repeats hesitantly. "Oh."

Fareia yanks on his hair as she finishes off a braid and he bobs his head,"keep your head /still/," she once again orders and shrugs to Kerali. "Hmm...Possibly...What do you think, Relina?" she asks as she peers at his toes and shrugs. "Eh, I think we're fine without it..." Doesn't Relina have feminine enough feet? And she starts on another braid.

Kerali stands up nodding agreement with Fareia. "You're right." Besides, she's not really a feet person. Grabbing another lock of hair, she begins to braid, following Fareia's pattern. "Y'know, Relina, I bet you'll be the talk of the weyr when you make your debut at the Ball." She grins down at him. "Now, remember...as a candidate, no personal relationships are allowed." Wink.

"Tunnelsnakes. I'm going to attract all this spiffy people, and I'm not even allowed to do anything." He winks towards the wall, which probably makes no impression upon either girl, since they're behind him, muttering, "Okay, okay, I'll stay still. This is why I don't have really long hair." Just marginally long. "Avoiding toenail polish is good."

Fareia giggles,"Yes, that's the only downside of this whole thing..." A wink down to the top of Reli's head, which also probably does no good as she finishes off another braid,"I've only got about..oh...three more to go on this side," she estimates, trying to think of how soon they can get him down to the caverns.

Kerali finishes off one braid, nodding to Fareia. "One more left here." Quick braider, she is. "But just think...you'll be so popular among the weyrfolk!" Tying off the braid, she begins a new row. "This braided look really fits you, ya know. You might want to keep it, even when Relian returns." Grin. "Jewelry. What should we do about jewelry, Fare?"

Relian snorts, which comes out something between laughter and disgust, commenting, "Oh, sure, that'll really look swell." Wiggling, he complains, "I'm not good at this sitting still. Can you hurry up, a little? I mean...it doesn't have to be *perfect*." A pause follows. He hesitates. Then: "You are *not* piercing my ears."

Ilara slips into the barracks and collapses onto her cot with a loud, weary sigh. After a moment, she rolls over and blinks at the others in the barracks, curious as to why Kerali's in here with them.

Fareia narrows her brows as she finishes off yet another braid and starts on the last,"Hm...I may have some bracelets in my stuff somewhere. Possibly a necklace, too..." A shrug as she ties off the last braid and digs through her trunk before she hears Relian,"Oh, don't worry, Relina, I hadn't even /thought/ about that...But if you /really/ want us to," she says with a wink as she clasps a silver chain necklace around his neck and links a couple of bracelets on his wrist. She turns around at the other movement in the barracks,"Hey, Ilara...meet Relina," she says, standing up and gesturing towards

Relian, who is currently sitting on the floor in a forest green dress with makeup and jewelry on. And hair in cornrows.

Kerali turns at a rustling sound, and breaks into a grin. "Lar! Good to see you!" She chuckles as she finishes off the last cornrow, and pats Relian on the back. "All set, Relina." Grin. Turning to Ilara, she goes and gives the former Herder a hug. "Oh, I'm here helping Hytiaf give you candies physicals. I'll stay until after the Hatching." Grin.

Relian's expression is nothing if not relieved. "I think I'll pass on that," he declares, nonetheless wincing slightly as he's weighed down with jewelary. "I honestly don't know how you do it - I'm not even going to think about having to walk in this thing." Painful idea. Ilara's entrance earns a flush, boy in dress looking distinctly uncomfortable. "Er, hi, Ilara."

Jayden wanders into the Barracks whistling softly to himself until he catches the sight of Relian. He freezes and raises an eyebrow, assuming that the girls have decided to seek some sort of vengeance on the poor guy. "Aren't you all aware that pranks are supposed to be pulled on the /riders/, not fellow candidates?" For Faranth's sake.

"I'm sorry," Ilara blinks at 'Relina', trying very hard not to laugh. As it is, she snorts on a giggle, and amusement twinkles in her eyes. "I-- I'm sorry," is all she can gasp out without being rude about it.

Fareia holds up a hand to wiggle her fingers in a wave to jayden,"Who said we were pranking?" she asks with a wink. "The poor boy needed a costume for our ball...So...We found him one." A couple paces bring her over to Jayden and she circles around him, looking him over,"Don't tell me you're in need of a costume, too?"

Kerali grins over at Ilara's reaction. Perfect! Eyes focus their sienna gaze on Jayden for a moment. "Jayden! Fancy seeing you here." Sure. "Hmm...indeed...this here is Relina. Would you like us to transform you into...Jaydena?" She smirks a bit, and nods at the boy. "And like Fare said, we're not pranking, only helping you boys out with a costume." And having a shardin' good time doing it, too.

Relian sticks his tongue out at Ilara, making a face. "Sure you are," he accuses, although his eyes twinkle with mirth. "Oh, Jayden, no. It's just so *comfortable." Really.

Ilara shakes her head in bemusement. "And that's the best costume he could think of? I'm sorry," she laughs again, and rolls over on her cot to throw a pillow at 'Relina'.

Is that unbridled terror on Jayden's face? Sure is. He takes a few steps back from the group, pity for 'Relina' turning into self-defense. "Oh, I've got a costume already." All right, so he's lying through his teeth, but they don't have to know that, do they? "It's a lot better than that one, too." You'd think getting stuck cleaning the latrine for lying the other night would make him tell the truth, but who says you have to learn from your mistakes?

Fareia chuckles and stops when she gets to the Kerali side of Jayden and places her hands on her hips, cocking her head and raising an eyebrow,"Oh you /do/? Well then, we simply must have a look at it, if it's so great." A small wink goes back to Kerali, as she guesses that he is lying, as any sane manly man would.

Relian catches the pillow, just, and makes to toss it back - "Well, sorreee. I think it's unusual, anyway." Plus, he was cohersed into it. It wasn't his idea, or anything. Eyebrows raise in response to Jayden's remark, "Oh? What is it? I'm interested." Out go the legs, which, with his skirts all scewed, show off the hair that grows upon them, and his manly feet in a pair of girly sandals.

Kerali echoes Fareia's pose, placing her hands on her hips as well. "Realllly now? Well, we'd all be quite interested in seeing it, Jayden." SHe goes and has a seat next to Relian-err-Relina. "We've got all day, so take as much time as you need to to change into it." Wickedly, she grins at him.

Jayden wonders if running away would make his costumeless state obvious. Nah, he'll stick with lying. "Uh uh, my costume is a surprise. Sorry. No one sees it until the ball." However, a faint blush is visible on his cheeks, making it rather difficult for him to lie well. /Why/ didn't choose to go somewhere else? Anywhere else?

Ilara ducks the pillow, letting it fly past her onto an empty cot. "Unusual? You look like Deba did a couple sevenday ago in the weyrwoman's skirt, that's all." She shrugs a bit, and eyes Jayden curiously. "Whats your costume? I need ideas for one... ...and I obviously can't dress up as a girl."

"A surprise?" Relian's eyes roll. "I believe you." Not. Glancing around, he queries, thoughtfully, "Are you going to make me show this off to the living caverns, or can I go and take it off?" If you please. -- Ilara is grimaced towards. "Whatever."

Dajen comes into the room with a lost look on his face, "Can someone help me?" Noticing the boy in the dress his eyes widen, "What the...." Noticing Kera and Farie from earlier on he questions, "Ummm... where am I exactly?"

Fareia raises an eyebrow, zeroing in on the faint trace of pink on Jayden's cheeks. "Oh come on, Jayden. We'll keep it a secret..." she continues to try and box him into a corner and prove that he simply needs the girls' help with his costume. She stands up and holds out a hand for Relina,"Well, then, come on. Off to the caverns with you..."

Kerali grasps Relian by the hand. "Oh no...we're absolutely going to have you show off in the caverns." She drags him onto his feet, grinning. "Fare and I have worked way too hard on you to let you just wash it off." Beam.

Relian sighs, but pulls himself up with Kerali's help, wobbling veritably before he gains his balance. He certainly makes a peculiar woman - that's for sure. One hand grasping Kerali, the other Fareia, he merely grins, ruefully, towards the other candidates. Lamb to the slaughter.

Jayden attempts to look insulted. And fails miserably, of course, but it's the effort that counts, right? "That's right, a surprise." He glares at Relian and Farie. "The definition of a surprise is no one knowing. You all constitute as someone. So I'm not telling. There." He's practically begging by this point...

Dajen just eyes the boy, "May I ask what you are doing?" He's only seen Farie and Kera twice and both times have been odd situations. "What are you girls doing to them?"

Kerali snickers a little at poor Relian as he attempts to wobble in her shoes. Glancing over at Dajen, she grins. "Relian here needed a costume for a ball coming up, so Fareia and I volunteered to give him one. Meet Relina." She winks over at Fareia again...this might be the best trick she's played since joining the Healers. Eyeing Jayden, she smiles sweetly at him. "No worries. Your day will come." Mwah.

Fareia sniggers along with Kerali,"Why, do you need a costume too?" she asks Dajen then motions with a finger for jayden to come along. "Come, then, Jayden. You have to convince the other guys to hit on the gorgeous Relina." A mischevious grin is perpetually stuck on her face now as she leads her little troop back to the living caverns with the new, the improved...Relina!

Ilara giggles as she watches. "This is sooo amusing, I'd almost like to go with you." She waves.

Dajen laughs a little bringing his hand to his mouth not meaning to be mean, "How did you let them do this to you?" Dajen wouldn't be caught dead looking like that. "You healers have /too/ much fun." He could just imagine a guy hitting on a guy dressed like a girl, "And Farie.. I think I'm fine costume wise."

Relina, wobbling still, moves towards the caverns, looking more and more -- reluctant. Oh dear.

Kerali waves at Ilara. "Well, why don't ya? I'm sure it'll be a memorable experience." Grin. Slowly, she leads Relian off to the living caverns.

[In the LC]

Kelana smiles. "Apprentice, ey? What craft? I'm thinking about joining the Healers myself..." She looks up as a crowd of people enter. "Kera! People I don't know! Hi!" Her flits chirp excitedly, flittering around her head.

N'ano walks nonchalantly in from the Northeastern Caverns.

Relian is wearing a dress. His hair has been braided. He's wearing makeup. He's all tumbling about in a pair of women's sandals. Peculiarly, he's smiling - somewhat.

Dajen walks in following the crowd, "I can just imagine..." Noticing the other people he grins and waves, "Hi everyone. Dajen is the name."

Kerali giggles, then waves at her dear friend Kelana. "Kelana!! Heya!" Smiling, she leads in a young man, dressed, strangely enough, like a girl. A pretty girl at that. "Friends, let me introduce you to the newest member of the Weyr. This, is Relina." Smirk.

Lynsay sits, eatting, and chatting with Kelana. "Farmer." She answers, glancing back over her shoulder at the others enter. Doubletake is given to Relian, and her dark eyes widen with disbelief. "Shards! What were you guys doing?"

Ilara lurks after thr group of psycho-- er, candies, with Relina in the center of the mob. She's not a part of this insanity. Really. But she wants to watch it, so she lurks quietly in the background.

Fareia helps "Relina" balance himself on his other side and grins as she follows them towards Kelana and Lynsay,"Hey, Lynz. If I may introduce Relina?" she also continues, looking over her shoulder to make sure the rest of her crew is near. Jayden...Check. Ilara...Check. Kera...And the one, the only, the lovely...Relina!

Kita turns from studying a mass of hides completely covering the Firestorm table- which is pretty impressive, considering the Firestorm table is as large as the wing's egos. "Relina?" she blinks, leaning forward and peering intently. "Oh my! Relian!" she suddenly realises, and claps a hand to her mouth to stifle a laugh. The hide she was holding open with that hand promptly rolls up.

Kelana peers at Relian/Relina. "Hi...Relina." The barest hint of a pause before the name and the mischievous smirk indicate that she's rather suspicious of the "girl" but willing to play along...

"Woah Faranth!" N'ano laughs, whistling through his fingers for a louder emphasis as he enters from the northern caverns, leaning against the doorframe while his arms cross over one another. He'd toss a mark too, but well, he kinda used the last of them to buy that ring.

Relian turns crimson in a way that is only his own; even his ears gleam bright red as his embarassment takes hold. "I swear, I don't dress up like a woman for fun," he avers, rapidly attempting to assure everyone - including himself - of this fact. "It's not *that* funny. Girls wear dresses all the time." Sullenly, he notes this, making a very pretty girl himself, complete with simpering pout, quite by accident.

Jayden shuffles in, torn between being thankful that it's Relian instead of him, and being terrified at the thought of his turn coming... Disappearing into thin air is sounding better and better by the moment. He opts for joining in on the Relina-teasing. "Relina is currently single and is looking for a man who likes long walks on the beach..." Muahahaha.

Grin. "Kerali, why are you dragging that poor embarrassed little...girl...around with you?" Kelana smirks and arches an eyebrow. "Bashful, isn't he...I mean she."

Lynsay slides out of her chair, moving over to join the crowd of candidates. "So did you do this by choice, or what?" Brow is arched slightly, a look of disbelief still clouding her face.

"Not all girls wear dresses," Kita pointedly remarks, standing up and showing for once that she is out of her leathers, but is instead wearing a brown pair of baggy pants and a green singlet, her strong biceps showing. "But I must say, you look better in a dress than most girls do," she teases, sitting back down and unrolling her scroll once more. "Better not go outside- the dragons might eat you, thinking you're an abnormality." Jayden's comment gets a laugh.

Kerali nearly falls over backward at the expression of those in the caverns. This is too precious. "Dear...Faranth!" Barely able to catch her breath, her eyes nearly pop out of her head at Jayden's statement. "Kelana...long...story!!" A tear is wiped from her eye at this point. "Ah yes...she's quite single, and quite willing...." Voice trails off as another giggle fit ensues.

Fareia clears her throat and shoots Relian a stare,"Oh /Relina/. You're so funny...Of /course/ girls wear dresses all the time. Which is why /you/ are wearing one." Relian is jerked to turn around slightly at the whistle and she mutters,"Don't /ruin/ it." N'ano is given a smile,"/Down/ boys," she says to the many in teh room staring with disbelief at the little troop,"Now, N'ano, you're weyrmated now, remember?" she mock-scolds with a wink and giggles.

"Interested, Jayden?" retorts Relian - sorry, Relina - waggling his eyebrows. He sashays, at least, sort of, forward, attempting to wiggle his hips with the movement. He's utterly unconvincing. "I'll follow that advice, thank you, Kita." Pleasant response is followed by a somewhat nasty wrinkle of his nose towards the sceptics and laughers. "It's not funny. It's quite serious." He's found a new call in life.

Ilara would be dying of embarassment right now, if she were in Relina's girly shoes. Luckily, she isn't, so she isn't. Lar grabs herself a glass of water and just watches the show with amusement, and no comment at all.

"Doesn't mean I can't still flirt with the pretty ones," N'ano winks, pushing off on his shoulder to a complete upright position, making his way towards the others "It's healthy for ya, or somethin'..." he later states as his logic. "Not like I'm gonna up and leave Hyti for someone else... I'd never do that--hence why I took those vows, y'know? And 'sides, he ain't really a--well, y'know."

Kelana's smile broadens slowly, despite futile attempts to control it. "She's looking for a man? Why limit it? Some of us girls are quite friendly too..." Succumbing at last, she goes off in a paroxysm of hysterical laughter.

Kita is completely unable to concentrate on her hides: she gives up, and leans her head on her elbow, the elbow stopping the hide from rolling up once more. She watches the Candidates flit around 'The New Relina,' and amused smile on her face.

Kerali nearly passes out with laughter at Kelana's statement. "Shards...why, Kelana? Are you offering your hand to this, ah, girl?" Eyes tear up again, she's chuckling so hard. "I only wonder if the dragon who Searched Relian knew about this little...ah...hobby." Grin. She reaches down to fluff out Relina's skirt. After all, need to make her look her best for everyone.

Relian flutters his - her? - eyelashes with some modicum of amusement, N'ano's comments met with delight. "Ooh, he thinks I'm pretty!" Ooh, ooh! Kelana is watched, appraisal taking place through eyes half lidded. "Mm-mmm. Maybe." Then attention is nonetheless taking its toll upon the candidate, who, in a failed attempt to avoid blushing again, turns bright red once more, stepping back rather rapidly. "I think we've all been delighted long enough," is his mutter, low and dark - followed rapidly by a mad dash back into the caverns. Time to hide ones face in shame.

You go to the South Caverns.
