Log file from Auralia. 1/12/99 7:46:35 PM D'thyn strides over from the Western Courtyard. D'thyn has arrived. D'thyn nods. "I found myself on the road to Southern Hold all of a sudden." D'thyn wanders by with a towel swung over his shoulders. "Evening, Auralia." Temari says 'C, GCC, CP, salt caves' Temari grins. If you can follow that! Auralia looks up. She's got a towel over her shoulders, too. Well, oever her arm, "Oh, hey, D'thyn." D'thyn grins, nodding towards the towel, "Planning a swim?" Auralia nods, and tilts her head towards your towel, "I am indeed. I take it you are, too?" D'thyn chuckles, idly swinging around one end of his towel. "Your powers of observation are impeccible, as always. Mind if I join you?" Auralia smoothes her towel, nodding cheerily, "Mind? Well...I think I have a mind. At least, if I'm thinking I have a mind. But I don't think I mind." She pauses, having utterly confused herself, "Feel free." D'thyn laughs. "I'll take that as an 'ok'." And sets off in the direction he was going in in the first place. [Travel spam deleted] You walk over to the Steam Baths. D'thyn walks over from the Salt Caves. D'thyn has arrived. Auralia strides in, towel over arm, right beside D'thyn. Peering into the steamy room, she calls, "Greetings to anyone...Oh! Is that you, Temari? Evening to you, then." Temari turns her head, which is all of her that can be seen above the water level, and peers in the direction of the door. "Auralia. Hello, come and join me?" D'thyn waves into the mist and, hearing from the voice that it is, indeed, Temari, waves. "Hey, Temari." Auralia drops her towel - and her clothes for that matter - without a thought, and slips into the water close to Temari, "Sure will." Although it's too late, and she already has. "Hurry up, D'thyn." Temari blinks. Not that that can be seen though. "Oh, D'thyn too? Hello. How many others are there just arrived? I didn't hear anyone?" D'thyn laughs, "The whole point of this place is to relax, Auralia, not to be rushed." Eventually he, too, gets his clothes off and slides in with a satisfied 'ah'ing sound. "Nobody else that I saw, Temari." Auralia snorts, "But waiting is...boring!" Ah yes, she will never slow down. Like, ever. "No one else, I don't think." Her feet splash. No, she can't sit still, either. Temari chuckles. "Ok. I thought that my assuming this to be a quiet time in here was totally wrong, just three is still peaceful though. And relaxing" D'thyn grins invisibly into the steam, very cheshire cat-like should any of it actually be visible. "Three -could- be relaxing, if Auralia doesn't insist on rushing us and wriggling around the whole time." Temari giggles, then slides totally under the water for a moment before emerging again and pushing her wet hair back off her face. Auralia looks all innocent and stuff, "Me? Would I do that?" Ah yes, there's her toe, poking out the top of the water, wiggling. D'thyn stretches out a leg and nudges Auralia's toe lightly with his foot. "Yep." Auralia's toe wiggles some more, and retreats. Beaten, just this once. D'thyn chuckles softly and scoops up some water, pouring it over his head. "So," he grins over at Temari, "you and Kenla have a nice swim yesterday? Have any luck figuring things out?" Auralia's ears, this time, wiggle, "Figuring things out? Ooh. Do tell?" Temari giggles again and sticks her own toe out of the water consideringly. Being somewhat smaller than Auralia it appears less far out in the pool. She wiggles it too, the it disappears back into the water. Auralia evidently has very animated body parts... Temari chuckles. "Um, yes, we did figure things out. Thankyou." she replies. You say "That's all very well and good, but -what- was it you figured out?" She's very impatient. Poor girl." Temari looks into the steam for a minute. "Um.. well, nto really figuring out, just that I should have told Kenla something, and I didn't cos I didn't want to upset her, but then she found out, and she was upset, but it's ok now" She nods. There. Auralia ohs, "Okay then." That was easy. Her toe appears, and wiggles again. Very seductivly, and all that. D'thyn ohs, sounding a little disappointed. "That was all?" He idly finds himself watching Auralia's toe. OK, maybe it's not -entirely- a bad toe to have around. Temari thinks for a moment, then adds "And we had a good swim". Auralia's toe does another little dance, just for D'thyn. Meanwhile, Auralia's mouth says, "A swim's always nice." Lame, lame, lame. But anyway. D'thyn grins, and nods. "So it is. I dare say, Auralia, your toe may be distractingly restless, but it -is- pretty flexible." He looks back over at Temari, "Kenla seems to be having some trouble adapting to the whole riders-and-relationships thing." Auralia glances at her toe, "Odd. I woulda sworn I didn't tell it to do that. Interesting." It goes for another dive, and it's owner's head cocks as she listens, "Ack. Poor Kenla." Temari sighs. "She's just upset cos everyone else around her seems to be finding someone they, um, like, and she hasn't yet" D'thyn ohs, face looking a bit disappointed, though if it's at the toe's disappearance or Kenla's misfortune is open to question. He does stick up his own toes and paddle them a little bit. "I guess the right one's just not come along, then?" Auralia ahs, and for once her toe doesn't move, "I can understand how she feels. Poor thing." Temari nods. "I told her she'd find someone, or they'd find her." She smiles suddenly. "I just don't think she wants to wait, she wants someone now" D'thyn grins a little, "Can't say that I haven't felt that way often enough myself. Waiting can be a true drag. Though it usually does the trick, eventually." Auralia makes a face, and her big toe pops up again. It does that. "Blech. All this stuff about 'finding someone'. I find it annoying in the least. But I suppose we're all different." D'thyn shrugs, water rippling a bit out from his shoulders. "It's best not to work too hard at it, at any rate. If it happens it happens." Temari smiles. "Mmm", then stares off into the steam for a while, still smiling, which may or may not be seen through the steam. Auralia comments blithely, "I'd say that it's best not to work too hard at anything, but Kinoa'd kill me." Ooh, a whole foot! D'thyn grins, "I think you're right -- it's best not to work -too- hard at anything. Work just enough, no more, no less." He watches the foot again, curious to see what it'll come up with next. Auralia's foot streeeeeeeetches. Really long and stuff. And up come an ankle - it obviously can't stay out of the fun. "Ahh, sounds good to me. More time to rest, too." That was Auralia, not the foot. Or the ankle. And not that she ever rests, anyway. Temari is still staring dreamily into space, possibly listening to the conversation, or maybe not. It seems to be a favorite occupation of hers at the moment. D'thyn decides even his legs aren't long enough to succesfully poke Temari in the shoulder, so he gives her an amused look instead. Which as usual may or may not be visible. "You look almost as pleased as I've been, Temari." Temari blinks. "Huh? Oh", and blushes. "Mmm", then tilts her head to look at him "You never did say /why/ you were looking so pleased?" D'thyn grins, leaning his head back and sinking a little so that the water goes up to just under his chin. "Nope. Some things are best enjoyed in silence for a while, I think. Like, um, good wine. Or dancing feet." Temari looks at him sharply for a moment as he mentions wine, then relaxes again as feet are added into the list, and glances over at Auralia's, watching it with amusement. D'thyn makes no notice of any looks, sharp or not, as his eyes are now closed. "Jays. I wonder what kind of child will result with me and Belira as its parents." Temari leans her head back against the edge of the pool. "Blonde haired? Cute?" she suggests, then pauses for a moment before letting the moment extend rather than add 'clumsy'. Auralia sorries. Back again. :P Temari grins. Thought you'd fallen asleep :) D'thyn cracks open an eye and lifts his head, smiling over at Temari. "I'll take the latter as a compliment, unless you were meaning that'd come from Belira's side of the family." He shrugs, "It'll at least be amusing to find out." Auralia snorts, somewhat belatedly, "Silence? What use is silence?" Her foot wiggles some more, and does a bit of a twist. Rather lovely. "A scary child. Very scary. I don't want to have anything to do with it." D'thyn blinks innocently over at Auralia. "Scary? Do -I- strike you as scary?" He does observe the foot, though apparently does his best not to openly admire it. Anjuli waves. Temari waves to Anjuli. hiya! D'thyn says, "Hey :)" Temari giggles. "You're very scary D'thyn" she says, lowering her voice as though telling a scary story, then giggles again, spoiling the effect. Auralia's foot -likes- being admired, though! "Not you. Belira. And if the two of you are combined, I don't want to know. Your charm, and her disability to do anything decently. No, not a good combination." Auralia says, "Hey, Anjuli :)" D'thyn laughs at Temari's quip, and splashes the two lightly. "Boo!" Auralia oys! "I thought you wanted to relax. That doesn't look like relaxing to me. At all." D'thyn grins, impishly. "Just had to demonstrate just how scary I am. This 'cute and charming' reputation I seem to be getting simply won't do." Temari giggles again, takes hold of the pool edge with her hands, then kicks out with a foot, sending an answering splash towards D'thyn. Auralia looks all lost and folorn and stuff, "It won't? Awww!" Splash. That nicely decorative foot? Gone. Instead, well, it's splashing everywhere. A real flipper kind of thing. The other one, too. D'thyn acks and lifts his arms in a futile attempt to deflect the double attack. "Hey!" is the only remark he is capable of making under the deluge of hot water. Anjuli buzzes off again. Oh, the joy of a Wednesday! Temari laughs and sits up slightly, watching as Auralia continues to drench D'thyn. Auralia smirks. And what a lovely smirk it is, too. But those feet that seem to belong to her keep splashing. A lovely tidal wave it makes, too. D'thyn decides there is no other alternative, and makes a grab for the feet. Auralia's feet are duly grabbed, and she slips down further into the water. Blond head goes under, and the poor feet flail madly. Poor, lost soul. D'thyn erks and releases the feet. Didn't mean to force the girl under the surface. Temari looks delighted as Auralia dissapears and collapses in laughter, whilst watching intently to see where she'll surface. Delighted? It's a good thing Auralia hasn't quite made it up yet. Although she's working on it. Poor, widdle feet go under again, and her head emerges, "Phpht!" Temari by this time has her laughter under control, and hopefully the steam hides her broad grin. "You ok, Auralia?" she asks, the amusement seeping through into her voice. D'thyn winces, giving Auralia an apologetic look. Big puppy dog eyes, jutted out lower lip, the works. "Sorry. Didn't mean to send you under." Auralia smirks, "You look cute like that, D'thyn." Now she's doing a puppy dog of her own - shaking her wet head to try and get some of the water out. "I'm fine, Temari. No thanks to you. And don't try to hide it, I see all." A horrible thought, that one. "I guess I know who my real friends are, huh?" She does? Who? Temari tries to look innocent. "Hey! I didn't pull you under!" D'thyn pouts transforms its way into a grin, "Of course you do. False friends just send you under -- real friends apologize for it after the fact. And," he adds, "you look pretty cute yourself when you look offended. So there." Auralia splutters. Cute? Her? "I'd splash you, but I'm still recovering, young man." Temari gets a snort, "I didn't see you move to defend my honour, though." Her grin would probably testify to the fact that she's joking. "Real friends wo- ah, but now. I won't go into that." Temari grins back. "Ah, you looked like you were doing ok". She came up again, what more would she like? D'thyn laughs, "Young man? I should do that more often if it'll earn me such high praise. And what, pray tell, -would- real friends do, exactly?" Auralia considers long and hard. "Real friends wouldn't have done it in the first place." Ah, she's all indignant and stuff. "I managed perfectly well - I'm female. Doesn't mean help wouldn't have been nice." After a pause, "Old man, then. Old, old, old man." D'thyn snickers. "Nope, you've already said 'young.' I dare say I can live off of that for quite a few sevendays to come." He smiles, leaning back against the edge. "And I -did- apologize. Only did it because you have such irresistible feet," he grins. Auralia's feet do the obligatory dance, "Aww, how sweet." The feet's owner's nose does a little wiggle, however, "Live off that? Mighty lean living if you ask me." Temari giggles again, then sighs, and with a heave pushes herself out of the pool, moving quickly to the side where she wraps herself in a large towel. "I've got to be off, hang that lot out so it's dry before morning" A nearby heap of damp, but clean clothes is given a nudge by her foot. D'thyn winks at Auralia, "Don't underestimate yourself. Though hopefully I can scrounge up another compliment or two as a side dish." Temari has to be off to a meeting in a min or so :( Auralia makes a face, and nods to Temari, "See you around then." D'thyn gets a smile, "Really? I shall have to try this." Auralia awws, and smooches. D'thyn snugs. I should be getting lunch soon, too. Temari selects the top tunic and shorts from the pile and pulls them on, showing something about the point at which she decides to do her washing. D'thyn waves to Temari. "Take care. Have fun daydreaming about whatever, or whoever, it is you seem to be so pleased about these days." Auralia says, "And I should be heading to bed, too. Shall we finish up, then?" "Although," D'thyn pushes himself out of the pool as well and grabs a towel, "hitting the sack doesn't seem like a bad idea." Temari giggles. "I will", then collects the rest of her pile and wanders out of the room. Temari strides over to the Salt Caves. Temari has left. D'thyn nods, guess so. It was fun :) Temari waves. Yup. Thanks :) Auralia considers this, and yawns, "Go on, leave me then. I've sweeps in another hour so I'm not going to bother going to bed. Fine then. Sniffle, sniffle." Awww. Auralia nodnods, it was. D'thyn chuckles softly, toweling himself thoroughly off by the pool's edge. "I thought you'd decided we weren't real friends, anyway?" Auralia considers this, and does the unthinkable: she sticks out her tongue. "You're not, but you make good substitutes when Iesath is sleeping." D'thyn smiles, "Ooh, a cute tongue to go with the cute feet." He pulls on his clothing and slings the wet towel over the back of his neck, "Well, have fun with sweeps. And don't stay in here until you look -completely- like a piece of dried fruit." Auralia waves a foot in farewell, "Sleep well, old man." A snort, "Tongues aren't cute, they're useful. And I won't, don't worry." D'thyn smirks, "Great. Now I have both you -and- Josy calling me 'old man.' Well, then, have a good swim, little girl." He waves and turns to head out. D'thyn strides over to the Salt Caves. D'thyn has left.
