You walk over to the Lakeside Meadow.

Auralia stomps over from the Southern Weyrs, face set in a scowl very much unlike her usual smiling face. She doesn't even offer a greeting to those assembled.

Nareisa wanders in from...somewhere. Who knows? She looks dreamy, hence also quiet.

A'dan is sprawled next to the oustretched tail of Taesyth, whom is leisurely lounging off to the side of the meadow. His head raises to first peer suspiciously at Auri as he whispers, "Proddy..." and then to smile at Reis. "Heya, Reis."

Nareisa blinkblinks. Someone said the P word. Blink. After a moment she relaxes, woah, she MUST be in a good mood. "Oh hi A'dan, how's Taesyth?"

Iesath is, as always, green. Or more than green. Maybe. Auri glares at the green lump, stomping off to the other side of the meadow from her lifemate, "No - you can /not/ have fish. I'm not going to catch enough fish to feed you. No."

A'dan mockingly blinkblinks, only in Auralia and Iesath's direction. Tearing his gaze away from green and rider, he glances to Reisa again. "Me, I'm fine. Taesyth is... asleep."

Nareisa ohs. "Hi Aura," waving in the greenrider's direction, and carefully keeping herface neutral.

Auralia looks up with a blink, scowling at Nareisa, "Hi yourself." And then, looking very much like an annoyed five year old, wrapping her arms around her pajama(?) top, she drops to the ground, glaring back at her lifemate, "Not moving."

A'dan takes a breath and stands up, using one hand to lean against Taesyth. "So, Iesath gonna rise pretty soon, eh, Auri?" Quite the daring one, he is.

Nareisa winces. "Tae already rose, right?"

Auralia's flash at A'dan, and in tortured tones, she explains, "No. She's. Not. Going. To. Rise." Her head tilts back to Iesath, "Hear that, lump?"

A'dan nods affirmative to Reis's question, though his gaze remains focused on Auri.

A'dan gives an idle shrug as he grins fiendishly at Taesyth. "Love to see her try and stop her, ay, dearheart?"

Nareisa offers nervously "It probably won't be so bad," gulp.

Iesath just Looks back at Auralia. Of course she's not going to rise. Silly rider. Her tail swings, and thumps on the ground.

Auralia looks up at Reis, eyes blazing, "But it won't need to be bad at all. Because she's not going to do it." And thats that.

Nareisa ahs. "Right," she says slowly.

A'dan nods slowly towards Auri. "Oh yes, of course. I said the exact same things." Before Taesyth rose is left unsaid.

"But she's not going to rise!" Auri's whining again. And again. Poor, poor people. "If she is, she knows I'll...kill her. She's knows it! She's acting like a little baby. Fish, indeed!"

Nareisa blinks. "Er... sorry to hear that Aura."

Auralia is over reacting, for some strange reason. She stops, puts her hands in her head (oh wait, the other way round) and sighs, "Sorry. She's been...bugging me all day. Why won't she stop!"

Nareisa ums.... "Because she's p..glowing?"

That was smart Nareisa, really smart. "Because she's not!" Aura's satisfied with that...I think. Iesath is ignored in the corner.

A'dan nods to Auri, in agreement with Reis. "Yeah. When she's back to her regular color, she'll stop. ANd not until then, usually."

Iesath> I bespoke Taesyth and Niaeth with << I'm not proddy! Auralia is! >>

Dragon> Niaeth bespoke Taesyth and Iesath with << You're glowing. >>

Dragon> Iesath and Niaeth sense that Taesyth replies, her mindvoice laid beneath colors of drowsniness and a want to sleep. << You are glowing. As was I. You'll rise. >>

Nareisa ers. "Well she is kind of bright."

Iesath> Taesyth and Niaeth sense that Iesath's mental tone is bright green, but she refuses to except this <<I'm not like you, Taesyth. I'm different.>> Better? Maybe not <<Auralia's the one thats proddy.>>

Auralia shrugs, "She's always like that." Honestly, really. And then, she cracks, "So, she's bright. What am I supposed to do, huh?"

Nareisa ums. "Maybe you just washed her?" she shrugs helplessly at A'dan. "Er... well, let her glow until she stops?"

Dragon> Iesath and Niaeth sense that Taesyth's tone is now smug. << You will see. >> Her mindvoice touches briefly, before it gone... and she is asleep.

Auralia shrugs, "Whatever. I don't care any more." She crosses her legs, uncrosses them, and crosses them again. She can't sit still.

Nareisa hrms. She mutters something that sounds curiously like "Good thing Niaeth is blue."

Auralia just sits in a little ball, scowling, "laugh at me now! Just wait! Just wait!" No one laughed, but you won't be able to say that to Auri.

Nareisa ohs. "WEll er... OK, Aura. Niaeth wants.... washing." Man she's a bad liar "So he can glow too." D'oh!

Auralia scowls, "You don't want him to glow. Really you don't."

Nareisa nods feverently. "You're right. So I'll only wash him a bit," and she makes a break for it.
