You walk toward the Landing field, full of dragons.

Auralia is back. Fear. Fear now. And somewhere, she got new plums. Fear more. Fear most. Yes.

Leonette suddenly corrects herself..."no I called her rude, spiteful little canine...that's it!" before going back to pouting at Suriath...

<Southern Weyr> Largon fears Auralia.

Alianne giggles faintly. Well, sulking seems to be a good way to get attention, now doesn't it? "Oh, I see. Well. What is it tht got you so mad at her, anyways?" she questions. Naturally, this'd be obvious to anyone else. But Ali is Ali. And Ali, being Ali, once again fails to notice the impending arrival of another. Which could mean her clean skin turned purple blotchy if she's not careful.

Suriath snorts, approvingly.

<Southern Weyr> Leonette fears plums..

<Southern Weyr> Auralia muahahas!

Kayjay walks over from the Western Courtyard.

<Southern Weyr> Largon is afraid of.. fruit! *gasp!**background screaming*

<Southern Weyr> Alianne is afraid of fruits like Largon too. Oh, wait.

T'rrin strides over from the Western Courtyard.

Leonette scuttles back into the trees as Kayjay walks by...

<Southern Weyr> Leonette giggles.

Cyonth flies over from the sky above.

Auralia is eating plums, actually, and making rather a big mess. One big, purple face. "Hi!" She says, in that cute, little girl kinda voice of hers. "Watcha doin'? Kin I help?" Chomp, too. "Wanna plum?"

Leonette still has one sweetroll she hasn't eaten yet...

Aithne peers around Kesath to spot Auralia...shrinking back down in holds she wasn't spotted...but not before she offers T'rrin a quick wave.

Largon walks along down a path. Yes. He walks along this here trail until he nears the field. He then clambers into the trees, whistling and making his way over the branches towards the field. He then hangs out of them to look around. Fun.

Kayjay walks through the Landing Field, eyes peeled for fleeing candidates. She spots Leonette and nods, but looks back to Auralia. "Hon, all those plums are going to make you sick."

Largon is looking at you.

Leonette sees KJ, but still she slinks in the shadows, then runs back to the Barracks...

Alianne jumps a bit at the sudden voice from behind. Swirling around, half-anticipating what she's going to see, she manages to hold up a fairly good imitation of a genuine grin. Whatever that consitutes. Head is tilted to the side; Ali's intrigued by that which is in a current condition of, ah, helplessness. "Hi there." she replies. "Not doing anything. You can help if you want. Plum?" Placate the enemy. Oh, wait. Auralia's not exactly an enemy, is she?

Leonette walks toward the Western Courtyard.

Auralia peers at her plums, looking at Kayjay with wide eyes. "Are they, Aunty Kayjay? I don't want that." The plum is given a mournful look. Very mournful. "But they taste so good. Yummy." She doesn't drop it. In fact, she eats some more. "Plum!" She says, nodding wildly to Alianne.

Leonette walks over from the Western Courtyard.

Leonette runs back to the Landing Field and quickly says to AIthne, "We were going to study these, right?" and sits down beside her, industriously studying the knots.

Kayjay shakes her head watching the fleeing candidate. "So Auralia. Umm have you eaten anything besides plums? She crouches near the greenrider. "By the way, I am not your aunty. I am not that old."

Largon continues to lean out of the trees, giving Auralia a strange look before he questions, "Has anyone seen Stella recently?" He grins a little as Leonette reappears and waves at her, peering round a tree at Kayjay, the fear invoking lady.

Leonette is humbly studying knots...respectfully...meekly...umm...humbly? studying knots....

Alianne mms. Now. Consider the consequences of saying yes and no. Less chancy with yes. "Oh, sure. Why not?" she replies. Let's just hope the greenrider remembers the question asked that was just replied to. Who knows, in such cases. Not Ali. Carefully, she twists her gaze to fall over the rest of the group.

Suriath watches Leonette for a moment then goes to sniff some flowers that are still growing despite the heat, in the shadows of the landing field"s edge.

Auralia has -explained- and -explained- and -explained-. But adults just don't listen, do they? "No, you're not my aunty," she admits, "But everyone's my aunty, really. Or uncle." She looks at the plum, and shakes her head to Kayjay, "No. I don't like other things. And plums are yummy." This makes perfect sense, yes.

Leonette looks to KJ..."I think Suriath is mad at me! He's been snorting at me...all disapprobing like..."

Aithne grins as she spots Cyonth and pads over to him, 'Hey there.' She greets the blue warmly.

Largon leans out of the trees a little more and, with a yelp, abruptly hits the ground on his side. He blinks, "Ow," then rises to his feet, brushing himself off and muttering a little. He looks up and around, then waves at Suriath.

Leonette looks over at Largon and blinks, then goes back to her knots...

Kayjay shakes her head at Largon, smiling graciously. "No, haven't seen her about today." She giggles. "We aren't that scary, really we aren't Largon." She blinks, still crouched by Auralia. She cheerfully retorts. "Well, if you get a tummy ache, you can always go to the healers. They can give you some really nasty stuff to drink to make it better."

Kayjay giggles at Leonette. "Oh, he just doesn't like the way you were talking about Jayla is all."

Auralia eyes Kayjay with the youthful horror that only innocense can provide. "Will they?" She stops, "No they won't. 'Cause I don't have a stomach ache." She stops, and turns around, darting out of the field. And returning, shortly later, with a mop. But this is not just a mop. With plum in one hand, and mop in the other, she begins to dance around the room. "Whee! Iesath is the most fun!"

Alianne is ignored again. Whee! Such fun, this is. Ali continues to cast her gaze around; almost as disapproving as Suriath's snort. Not quite so, though. Making herself content to just watch. And according to the Auralia expectations, it's going to be quite a show.

Kayjay sighs, watching the greenrider helplessly. "That isn't Iesath, dear."

Auralia honestly wouldn't ignore Alianne, if she was in her own mind. But that mind is...gone. For good? One can hope not, anyway. She shakes her head at Kayjay, "Yes it is. What else would Iesath be? A real dragon?" She snorts, and turns around. Riding on Iesath, the greenrider turned maniac continues her running. To which end, she stops, peering at Largon. "Hullo. Who're you?"

Largon glances at Alianne and edges closer to Kayjay, jerking a thumb at the former conspiratorily and saying, in a mock-whisper, "I'm just waiting for Alianne over there to snap, personally.." He folds his hands behind his back and goes back to whistling innocently. He curiously begins watching Auralia, turning his gaze back to Kayjay and asking, "Is she.. alright?" His tone is more or less serious.

Leonette watches Auralia and is /very/ confused...

Leonette sits over by Alianne...and whispers something in her ear...

Suriath sniffs at a flower which of course causes the thing to be snorted halfway up his snout. He sits cross-eyed as the flower goes in and out and in and out. He turns his head slowly, looking around the field with interest.

Leonette is looking at you.

Auralia looked at Largon, honestly.

Alianne isn't going to snap. Not any quicker than Miss Dragonless Dragonrider over there is, anyways. Of course, she's going to affect her pouting attitude now. That always gets her attention, right? Wrong. Eyebrow is quirked at Auralia. "Is that fun?" she asks, tilting her head. Uhm. Unlike Auralia, this little candidate /has/ no real reason to act like that. Playing along? At Leonette's whisper, she shrugs. "Good question." Though the answer is as clear-seen as Iesath's glowing hide.

Iesath is a mop. A glowing mop? That -is- an interesting idea.

Kayjay shakes her head. "Alianne never speaks much, I guess she likes to be left alone alot..." She shrugs and mutters something about plums, proddiness and don't mention old hags to Largon.

Largon scratches the back of his head, coming to the full conclusion that, while the Weyr is better than home, it's a little.. off-key. He looks at Auralia and blinks, "Oh, yeah, sorry.. I'm Largon.. Who're you?" He does nod, however, at Kayjay's words on Alianne, "I know how she feels."

Aithne just peers over her shoulder at the others....somehow, someway...this all will make sense...really.

<Southern Weyr> Leonette says, "All I've caught so far is Auralia's either proddy or dragonless or both...."

Auralia beams at Largon, "Hullo, Largon. I'm Auralia. This," she points to her mount, "Is Iesath." She leans in, explaining, "She's really only a mop, but I pretend that she's real, so's I can be like Aunty Kayjay and all of them." She pauses a moment, and then says, "Iesath says you'd make a good candidate. Will you stand?"

<Southern Weyr> Auralia says, "Don't say the P word. It isn't nice. I should wash your mouth out..."

<Southern Weyr> Alianne giggles..

Kayjay does a double take, looking from Suriath to Largon and from Auralia to the mop.

<Southern Weyr> Leonette blahs and spits out the soap :P

Auralia adds: "Want a plum?"

<Southern Weyr> Largon is sorry, Auralia. I'll never do it again.

<Southern Weyr> Auralia grins :)

<Southern Weyr> Largon is so ashamed of himself.

<Southern Weyr> Auralia says, "You should be!"

<Southern Weyr> Leonette says, "Is getting more confused by the second..."

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay giggles.

Largon blinks at Auralia and her mop, scratching the back of his head, "Sure.." He figures the vaguest answer is the best at this point and holds out his hand for the offered plum, "It's good to pretend.."

<Southern Weyr> Auralia smooches Leonette. Auralia's the P word. She just acts really..different.

<Southern Weyr> Leonette blahs....I keep getting mixed up, turned around, and generally confused here...

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay says, "Auralia has that habit of doing these sorts of things"

<Southern Weyr> Largon says, "You're confused? Algebra is easy compared to this."

Aithne's jaw drops as she watches Auralia...then Largon...then finally Kayjay. She keeps searching for a clue amidst all the madness, but her search seems to be in vain.

Suriath lumbers up to his lifemate, peering over her at the young lad. He sniffs the mop in Auralia's hand, blinks and croons softly.

Alianne might just snap. Who knows. Define snap. She continues to watch Auralia with growing curiousity. As her question goes unanswered, she merely shrugs it off. Hunter-green follow the mop-mount curiously, and a giggle is forstalled behind a hand as she watches.

<Southern Weyr> Leonette says, "Okay, I guess so...whatever..silly is fun! :)"

Auralia beams, waving towards Kayjay, "He said yes! I got a candidate! Whee!" She points to Largon, adding, "Follow me to the candidate barracks, please." Iesath is dismounted, and set down, with a soft pat on the handle. "Pretend is fun, yes." The mop doesn't move at Suriath's sniffing. But that's what mops do, anyway.

T'rrin wonder slowly out into the landing field behind Kayjay silently..

Kayjay blinks. "Did he say yes?" She looks at Largon. "The question still stands." She looks back at T'rrin. "Do you agree?"

Leonette looks at T'rrin, then back at the boxes of knots...and she sighs...

<Southern Weyr> Jayla takes a peek at all the spam that collected while she wasn't looking. "Yer crazy, Auralia." ;)

<Southern Weyr> Auralia thanks you! And is proud of it ;)

<Southern Weyr> Leonette has been crazy at times too ;)

Iesath> Suriath and Cyonth sense that Iesath may glow slightly, but she's still a search dragon. << He think she's joking. >> Not that she can blame him.

Dragon> Suriath bespoke Southern Weyr with << So I see >>

Suriath leans over his lifemate and nudges the young lad. His expression clearly reads. Well?

Alianne could warn others away from the little landing field. The little landing field that's currently harboring so much of the insanity that Southern can sometimes be famed for. Alianne, of course, remains silent and insightful the whole time. Or completely blank. One of those.

<Southern Weyr> Leonette says, "This has been the most interesting day in the RP world..."

Largon blinks up at Suriath, shifting a couple steps from the nudge. He looks like someone smacked him in the head with something, dazed. A mop? A dragon? Agreement? "Uh.. yeah.." He blinks, looking at Kayjay.

<Southern Weyr> Largon says, "Actually, the most interesting day in the RP world to date is on another MU* when a fire and earth elemental accidently tore the center of a city up.."

Leonette laughs quietly...looking at her knots...but somhow she just doesn't look like she's studying right now....maybe it's the way her eyes keep sliding sideways at the insanity...

Kayjay giggles. "Umm Largon, Would you do Southern Weyr the honour of being a candidate on the sands when Tia's eggs hatch?"

A clue! Aithne finally grasps something that makes sense. "Congrats Largon!' She calls over in excitement.

Leonette suddenly forgets her box of knots. "Hooray Largon!"

Kayjay shakes her head. "Wait, He still has to answer.."

Leonette grins and shushes...waiting for the answer...

Aithne ohs softly as she ducks her head, "Sorry."

Largon finally gets it registered and he accidently lets out a, "Ooooooh.." A little loudly. He nods at Kayjay, "Yes'm.. I will..." He blinks at both Aithne and Leonette at the same time, tucking his hands in his pockets and bowing his head a little. His ears turn red.

<Southern Weyr> Auralia changes Largon's knot status. Yay! Welcome to the ranks of the candidates.

Auralia beams. And beams more. "Come on! We've got to get you settled in and all." The plum is still offered. And the girl starts moving towards the candidate barracks.

<Southern Weyr> Aithne wooooos! ;)

<Southern Weyr> Largon thanks Auralia and her.. mop.

Leonette repeats, "Hooray!" and moves over to give Largon a hug...that is, if he wants one...

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay says, "Congratulations Largon!"

Reverie brokeN? Aw, no fair. Alianne peers up with another type of curiousity, eyeing Largon, Suriath, Auralia, 'Iesath' and Kayjay for a moment. At the confirmation of standing, Ali does let out a grin. "Welcome to the life of dragon bait, Largon." she says, grinning maliciously. How encouraging.

<Southern Weyr> Aithne snugs and congrats ;)

<Southern Weyr> Leonette congrats Largon!

<Southern Weyr> Auralia's mop rules. Remember this.

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay has to read this log!!

<Southern Weyr> Alianne giggles. Welcome to Completely Insanity, Largon. ;)

<Southern Weyr> Jayla will keep that in mind, Auri. ;)

<Southern Weyr> Aithne nodsnods alot.

<Southern Weyr> Auralia phews, and remembered to log.

<Southern Weyr> Alianne ptooies. How come he just put in the big group, huh? ;)

<Southern Weyr> Leonette is /definitely/ logging today! and also need to make a webpage for her logs...

Kayjay smiles at the newest Candidate. "Wonderful! She pulls out a knot from her pocket and waves it at Leonette first." And what is this knot Leonette?"

<Southern Weyr> Aithne says, "Cause its the cool group."

Largon almost flinches away from Leonette, but takes the hug a little confusedly. He blinks at Leonette, and nods, "Thanks.." He then grins at Alianne, "Well, at least I got you to talk, eh?" He watches Kayjay curiously.

Auralia is impatient. And one would wonder why not? "Come on!" She says, upset. "Can't we get moving here? I wanna go inside the barracks."

Alianne rolls her eyes at Largon, offering a shrug. "Ah, well. So?" she returns. Tersely, of course. It never last for long.

Leonette looks closely at is and says, "Ummm...uh...Candidate?"

Kayjay look at Auralia. "Just a moment dear." She beams at Leonette. "Right!" She hands the knot to Largon. "Congratulations and may you be one of the few that is lucky enough to find a lifemate be found on the sands."

Leonette grins at her cleverness...

Largon peers at the knot curiously for a moment, turning it ove. He nods a little absently at Kayjay, "Thanks, Kayjay.." He turns to Auralia and asks, "Could you show me how to put this thing on, too?" He's never been allowed a real knot before.

Kayjay face palms. "He is asking Auralia to put on a knot?"

<Southern Weyr> Largon says, "But mostly, I'd like to thank Suriath.. the best dragon on SW.. :P"

Auralia is getting trusted with someone's candidate knot? Fear. She blinks, stops, and then grabs the knot, running away with it. Never trust a greenrider with anything. Into the barracks she disappears.

Leonette stifles a giggles, then lets it loose...

<Southern Weyr> Auralia says, "Hey! What about Iesath?"

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay says, "Hey, it was Iesath the mop who found you!"

<Southern Weyr> Auralia says, "Who else can say they were searched by a mop?"

You walk over to the Lakeside Meadow.

You walk toward the Candidate Barracks.

<Southern Weyr> Largon says, "And I would like to thank Iesath, the best mop ever.."

<Southern Weyr> <Auralia> Iesath the mop beams, and bows quietly. << You're welcome. >>

<Southern Weyr> Leonette grins...this is even crazier than my search...

<Southern Weyr> Alianne snickers. "Largon. Feel proud. First candidate officially searched by Iesath-the-mop." ;)

Kayjay walks over from the Lakeside Meadow.

Largon walks over from the Lakeside Meadow.

Auralia sits on a cot, the knot on her own shoulder.

Kayjay blinks, looking at the knot."No, no, Auralia. You are a greenrider, already."

"My green is a -mop-. I want a real green. Why doesn't anyone search me?" Auralia wails, holding tight to the knot.

<Southern Weyr> Aithne is just snickering to hard

Leonette strides over from the Lakeside Meadow.

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay says, "Oh dear.. this is too too funny. Now she is wanting to be a candidate."

Largon follows after Kayjay, because she.. knows the way. That's it. He blinks at Auralia, scratching the back of his head yet again, "What's wrong with that mop? I like her."

<Southern Weyr> Auralia doesn't think it's funny. I want to be a candidate! I want a real dragon! Iesath is a -mop-

<Southern Weyr> Alianne giggles. I wanna see. ;)

Auralia rolls her eyes distainfuly, "Sure, she's a nice mop. But she's only a mop. Not the real thing."

Leonette strides over to the Lakeside Meadow.

<Southern Weyr> Jayla will sit this out. Ya'll too happy-go-lucky for me, ICly.

Kayjay shakes her head, crouching beside the greenrider. "But you already have been a candidate and you already have that lovely Iesath. She might not like you having another dragon. And only one per person. That's the rules."

<Southern Weyr> Jayla wants a log though! :)

<Southern Weyr> Aithne falls over laughing...Oh my.

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay dies at KJ

Auralia shakes her head carefuly. "No. I haven't been a candidate. I'd know if I had. And Iesath is a mop. She isn't lovely. She's wooden. She wouldn't mind. She can't talk. She's not 'live."

<Southern Weyr> Kayjay says, "Maybe if we all love her enough she will come alive... oh no, that was the velveteen rabbit, not the velveteen mop."

<Southern Weyr> Auralia says, "It might work? ;)"

Largon folds his arms, "I think Iesath is gravely insulted by all of this.. Just because something doesn't look real and doesn't choose to speak up doesn't mean it's not alive. Anything can be alive, it matters how much you care for it to be..."

<Southern Weyr> Largon liked that lil' rabbit...

<Southern Weyr> Jayla killed the lil' rabbit. Oops?

Kayjay reaches into her pocket and pulls out another knot, tossing it over her shoulder in Largon's direction.

Jack flits over from the Lakeside Meadow.

<Southern Weyr> Largon says, "Dangit, Jayla.. can't we leave you alone for one minute? :P"

Auralia sniffles, looking at Largon. "You think?" She ponders, and then moves to her feet. "Maybe." The knot is fiddled with, but not removed. No, she holds onto it. Firmly. "One day, I'll be a real candidate, and then I'll Impress for real, and Iesath will be happy for me. Very happy." She pauses, moving towards the door, "Congratulations,' she adds, moving outwards. "One day..."

You walk toward the Lakeside Meadow.
